First of all, thank you for praying for us. We continue to remain humbled by all those who have given of themselves to pray to the Lord in our behalf.
God has been so good in allowing me to live longer than any of the doctors thought. However, there is a new tumor or “soft tissue mass” found in the vital area of the upper right lobe of the lung. It is extending through the airways of the right bronchial system. It is 2.5 X 3.8 cm in size which is about the size of a golf ball. It has grown rapidly over the past three months because it was not there prior to the previous scan.
I have met with doctors here and talked with the doctor in Mexico. They all see this as a grave and serious matter. At present we are weighing our options but we have made no decisions. We are headed to Mexico this next week and will discuss our options with them.
We understand that only God can intervene in our behalf with this mass. He has led us thus far in this battle and we will continue to trust Him as we make these decisions. Please continue to pray for us and for wisdom to make decisions that will honor Him through this.
